Cody f miller
Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

I love quotes because if they are good quotes then they cause you to pause and ponder over their implied meanings

I have been reading a series of books lately and one book I have been reading for the past 10 years(!) is "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff and it's all small stuff" by Richard Carlson. When I met my husband I gave him this book, he never read it but gave it to someone who did. Some books are made to be passed on to continue the good work the author started. If you are not familiar with this book, I would describe it as a series of quotes or titles that the author had come across in his life and the lives of others. His commentary was like "plain talk". An antidote if you will to help diffuse life's chronic maladies.
So in chapter 48, the title of a short missive is "Remember that Everything has God's Fingerprint's On It." I love this quote:
"When our life is filled with the desire to see the holiness in everyday things, something magical begins to happen. A feeling of peace emerges. We begin to see nurturing aspects of daily living that were previously hidden to us. When we remember that everything has God's fingerprints on it, that alone makes it special. If we remember this spiritual fact while we are dealing with a difficult person or struggling to pay our bills, it broadens our perspective. It helps us to remember that God also created the person you are dealing with or that, despite your struggle to pay your bills, you are truly blessed to have all that you do," RICHARD CARLSON
So today is "Do Gooder  Monday ". Got Books? Read them, finish that last page and pass it along. A challenge, pass along the book of Mormon to someone.
